These adamant eyes will attract you.
That metallic figure cast in
Aphrodite’s honor true.
A body of soft copper skin
Formed of the rarest hue
Of Earth’s metals within.
Yet if your heart would
Be composed of iron resistance,
I would test your sainthood
Which holds us at a distance.
The sight of you my dear,
Like a golden cathedral
The holy house there
Of spark, warmth, and all.
To faithfully place a token in
Your hands and pray she
Accepts my romantic currency.
My metallic ally she would be.
And if this romantic nears
A steel defense- I would
Carve two perfect spheres
Of adamant stone- I could
Take two gold pins to
My eyes, and place within
The emptiness my new
Magnetic gaze there in.
Just to attract you close
To pull on you by silver
Strings, to look upon those
Steely eyes. Star crossed gazer-
You’ve made me, so let my eyes
Draw you now to our lovers' prize.
